February 22, 2019 Weekly Gallery Talk: Curator Cameron Moon on the Phosphate Mining Period at Drayton Hall

February 22, 2019

On February 22, 2019 at 12:30 pm in the Caretaker’s House, Curator Cameron Moon leads the weekly Gallery Talk on the phosphate mining period at Drayton Hall. Pivotal in yields; the phosphate mining lease changed the house and the landscape of Drayton Hall in drastic ways still evident today. A period often over-looked in the history of Drayton Hall, it is critical to understanding what we see now. Not to be missed.

Drayton Hall’s Weekly Curator Gallery Talk Series is presented on Friday’s at 12:30 pm. These talks are included in your admission and membership. This is a wonderful weekly opportunity to hear the stories we are not able to fit on to the walls of our galleries. Lunch is served at Rudi’s Café; making for a perfect weekly Friday outing to the new Drayton Hall. No reservations are required, simply meet in the Gallery.
