The February 2014 edition of Early American Life features an eight-page spread on the history and architecture of Drayton Hall. Written by Winfield Ross, the article contains interviews with Charlie Drayton, the last Drayton family owner of the house; George McDaniel, executive director of the site; and Carter Hudgins, director of preservation and education. Accompanying the article are beautiful photographs of Drayton Hall’s collection, historic landscape, and interior architectural details.
